AireCell Softwall Cleanrooms are highly durable and flexible. They can be configured to meet specific cleanroom requirements. The interlocking grid system allows durable construction with easy assembly and cleanroom expansion. AireCell Softwall Cleanrooms can be configured to meet contamination requirements by proper selection of HEPA filtration.
AireCell Softwall features:
Easy installation – no bolting
Design flexibility
Easy expansion
Easy conversion to rigid wall
Contamination Control:
The amount of air flow or air changes determines the contamination level or number of particles in the softwall cleanroom. Gerbig Engineering Company can assist the buyer with filter selection based on the process requirements.
Softwall Framing:
The AireCell Softwall system is composed of a frame built with only four aluminum extrusions shown above. All extrusions attach to one another with only Allen Wrenches. At any time the owner may expand the Softwall cleanroom in any directions because the beam is symmetrical. Rigid walls can also be added later with no change to existing frame. (see modular cleanrooms)
Curtains
Softwall curtains are manufactured with a PVC extrusion fused to the vinyl. Curtains are attached to the beam and held in place with a cord retainer. The most commonly used material is 40 mil clear vinyl. Strip curtains are used for access. Other materials include ESD safe vinyl, opaque, yellow, or black vinyl and ultra low out-gassing materials.
