Energy of Vertical Laminar Flow Cleanrooms
In this article Fred Gerbig discusses fan energy in laminar flow cleanrooms.
The article contains field data of several rooms measured with a power factor
meter. This is an old article published in Microcontamination magazine in the
1980s but is still valid today.
Energy Consumption of Fan-Filter Type Cleanrooms
In this article, actual cleanroom fan energy is measured using a power factor meter. This data is from Gerbig Engineering’s own Validation Services Group. After the airflow has been measured, actual watts for the cleanroom are measured and data is converted to watts/1000 CFM. As the Group measures more rooms, the chart is updated.
Gowning Protocols
Gerbig
Engineering has dozens for protocols for their validation work in the Minnesota
area. The attached file is available for download free for modification by any
